feathers glisten
    the crow bows three times
    before dining

    yesterday
    mingles with today
    butterfly dreams

    dark street
    the echo of my steps
    the only sound

    reflections
    Wurlitzer lights swirl
    in the empty pitcher

    glittering
    in the moonlight
    her sequined bra

    sunday morning
    sounds of a distant bell
    and cricket songs

    traffic slows
    a yellow kite soars
    above the freeway

    wind shift
    the scent of jasmine,
    and memories
